Aluminum / Galvanized Steel Description: Can be ordered in varied thicknesses and in sizes up to 4'x 8'. Metal can be powder-coated or vinyl covered in any color desired. Metal signs are very heavy and require sturdy posts or mounting surfaces. Applications: Used mostly in heavy weather-wear situations and where permanent signage is needed. Durability: Outdoors / 8-10 years. Price Range: High - Varies depending on whether powder-coated or vinyl-covered. |

Corrugated Plastic Description: The
standard material in low-cost temporary signage. Comes in varied thicknesses,
and a wide range of colors. Colors other than white are special order. |

Plexiglass / Lexan Description: Plexi-glass is the standard translucent plastic used for illuminated signs. Lexan is similar, but much more durable than plexi-glass, and is used in high-wear situations, or where vandalism may be a problem. Both come in varied thicknesses, in clear or white. Other colors may be special ordered, or it can be vinyl-covered in any color desired. Applications: Illuminated signs, and semi-permanent weather-resistant outdoor signs. Durability: 5-7 years outdoors. Price Range: Mid (Plexi-glass) / High (Lexan). |

Plywood (Crezone) Description: Crezone plywood is a standard plywood sheet with a special smooth surface designed for signage purposes. Crezone can be painted in any color desired, and is available in sizes up to 4'x 8'. Multiple sheets can be combined to create larger signs and billboards. Applications: Crezone is used in a wide range of semi-permanent and permanent outdoor applications. Durability: 3-5 years outdoors Price Range: Mid |

Intecel Description: Intecel is a heavy-duty plastic material with a smooth surface, available in a wide range of thicknesses, in sizes up to 4'x 8'. It can be ordered in a limited range of colors, or it can be painted or vinyl-covered in any color. It does not warp or yellow, and if left white, it never has to be painted. Applications: Permanent outdoor signs, or where there is heavy exposure to elements. Intecel can also be routered, or used as a material for raised-lettering. Durability: 5-7 years. Price Range: Mid-High. |

Sintra / Polystyrene Description: Sintra and Polystyrene are a cost-effective, durable smooth-surfaced alternative to corrugated plastic. They come in a variety of thicknesses and colors. Colors other than white are special order. Applications: Used for permanent indoor signs, when a thin or smooth surface is desired, or when a more durable temporary sign is required. Durability: Permanent indoors / Temporary outdoors. Price Range: Low-Mid, depending on thickness. |

Magnetic Description: Magnetic material is a lightweight and inexpensive alternative to permanent decals on vehicles. It is available only in white, but can be covered in vinyl in any color desired. NOTE: Magnetic signs must be adhered to a clean surface at all times or paint may be scratched, or, the signs may fall off at high speeds. Applications: Used primarily for temporary signage on vehicles when permanent decals are not desired. Durability: 1-3 years temporary usage. Price Range: Low. |
